Hope your all enjoying the Summer months, although the weather is not behaving well for us !
This month we have lots of children transitioning to new rooms, and some new starters. This means we will be focusing on feelings and emotions, and building up relationships with new key workers. We will also be focusing on the great outdoors, and hunting for mini-beasts in the garden. As some of you may have observed, we have a mini green house outside and the children have been busy planting and looking after the plants and flowers, they really enjoy this aspect of the curriculum and we will continue with this through the month.
All the rooms have produced their regular monthly news letters for August, please make a note of the special dates on them for teddy bear picnics, and book days, as they vary from room to room.
Some of you have applied for the 30 hours funding for your 3-4 year olds. This must be done by 31st August in order to receive the funding if you are eligible. Check on the website www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to see if you qualify.
