OCTOBER NEWS

Autumn has arrived, and the temperatures have really started to drop. Please make sure your children have coats and hats at the ready, for garden play each day ?

This month the children will be celebrating world animal Day on the 4th October, by talking about their pets, or animals they know, they will even have a visit from CoCo, Sharon’s Cavapoo dog .

Our pre school children are having a space week 5th-9th October, making rockets and learning about the planets.They will also be turning their home corner into a doctors surgery, and link this with the topic of healthy lifestyles. They will be making and tasting healthy food options, and looking at hand hygiene, and teeth brushing routines.

Our Swann room will commence with ballet lessons form our qualified ballet teacher, and nursery nurse Leah, as well as celebrating Harvest festival.

Caterpillar room are very busy this month ,following on with the above themes and having an Autumn walk to discover the changing colours of the leaves.

We will be having a spooky Halloween day on Friday 30th October, and the children can dress up in any outfit they want.

We are continuing with are strict hygiene procedures, and we have no reported cases of covid 19.
