Hope you have all enjoyed the very hot summer we have just had, we certainly did at the nursery.
This month the children will be focusing on maths and science. Pre school will be focusing on Space and planets, Caterpillar room will be looking at the role ICT plays in maths and learning. Swann’s room will be having a “Little Big Maths” session each week, and babies will be joining in with action songs relating to numbers and counting such as “five little Ducks”.
We also welcome our new children this month, and many of our existing children will be moving rooms, so we will focus on transitions, new friends, and feelings.
Parents claiming the 30hrs code: Please remember to renew your code every 3 months on line, and if its your first time, once you have been allocated a code you must send it in to me with you NI number and child’s date of birth, so I can validate it with Walsall Council. Any problems just give me a call.
