APRIL NEWS AND TOPICS.
We have three new staff to introduce this month. Vicky has joined our Caterpillar room and is a fully qualified nursery nurse. Vicky has moved from Worcester to live with her boyfriend in Sutton, and has joined our team on a full time basis.
Michelle starts next week and will be working in our pre school room. Michelle has worked for the past thirteen years at Pheasey Park Farm Nursery school, but due to changes at Pheasey she feels the time is right for a new start, and we are very happy that she has chosen us for that new start. Following on Michelle’s heels Caroline, also from Pheasey, starts in our Swann’s room at the end of April. Caroline will be part time, as will Michelle. We look forward to working with all 3 of these very experienced ladies.
GARDEN NEWS
The soft play flooring has been laid, and it looks great. The sail is up, and the new resources for the garden are on order, so we are well over half way with our garden makeover.
TOPICS THIS MONTH
New Beginnings : The chicks have hatched in the past 3 days in our pre school room, and the children will continue to watch them grow, and tend to their needs on a daily basis. Please pop into the preschool room and see them with your children if you haven’t done so yet. We also have real caterpillars in our caterpillar room. The children have named the five caterpillars and are watching closely to see who transforms into a beautiful butterfly first.
Following on from new beginnings we will be looking into animals and their habitats. We will look at all animals from large wild beasts to pets at home and mini beasts in the garden.
