Hello I’m Sharon the nursery manager and proprietor. Welcome to Taylor’s Tots Nursery.
Taylor’s tots evolved in 2001 just after i had given birth to my second child. Whilst on maternity leave from West Midlands Police, I started to look into nursery care, i became very disheartened as i couldn’t find the right type of care for my daughter. My husband and i were looking for quality childcare in a warm and stimulating environment, and failed to find anything to meet these requirements. Not feeling comfortable in leaving my daughter in ’just a nursey’ I set about creating my own. I opened my first nursery in 2003, had my third child in 2007 and opened my Streetly nursery in 2010, then my Dunston nursery in 2020. The Dunston setting is a beautiful 1830’s manor house with 360 countryside views, an extensive walled garden with soft flooring and an outdoor classroom. We also have a variety of quality resources for all age groups.
I am passionate about providing families with a warm caring environment, where children can be educated and cared for in equal measures.
Where laughter fills the corridors and children play freely. Where the environment is clean, and the staff are engaging. Where parents are valued, and relationships are formed where children are valued as individuals, and educated around their needs. What we have created has been a great success, and clearly meets the needs of many local families.
My requirements and expectations for my own children, have provided the inspiration, and foundations for Taylors Tots Nursery.
