JUNE NEWS AND TOPICS
It was great to see so many of you at the parents evenings last week, we had really positive feed back regarding the new I Pad learning journals. Just on that note, when your child leaves the nursery we will send you a PDF file of the full journal which can then be put onto a disk if you so wish, they are a great keepsake.
June topics are health and well- being. We will be looking into healthy eating, oral health, and keeping fit. The children will have a visit from Reece Associates, our local dentist, who will be talking to the children about the right foods to eat, and role playing a visit to the dentist. The children will be able to dress up and use the instruments on some teddy bears, and use a mini dental chair. Hopefully this will take out the fear factor some children have visiting the dentist.
We will also be getting active in the garden with a mini olympics, and a tennis tournament to run along side Wimbledon fortnight.
PLEASE PLEASE make sure you provide a hat and suncream on a daily basis , as we will be outdoors as much as possible.
The children will continue to tend the plants in the garden, hoping for a harvest very soon !
