OCTOBER NEWS
Autumn has arrived, and we have lots or rain to contend with ! Can you all make sure the children come to nursery with appropriate outdoor clothing, we still take the children outside every day if we can .
So this month we have world animal day on the 4/10/19 and we will be linking this to hibernation, and various animals.
We also have world food day on 16/10/19, and we will tasting foods from all over the world that day.
Pre school will have the important topic of Pants week on the 21/10/19 this is supported by the NSPCC. It’s a safeguarding message in a child friendly way , with games and videos from Pantosaurous the dinosaur, please check out the NSPCC website for all the details
Its Halloween on 31st October and the children can dress up if they want to, in their favourite outfit, it doesn’t have to be scary !
We will also be collecting again for the Elim Church Food bank, celebrating the Harvest festival. When we collected food in the spring term, the Church who run the food bank were very grateful for our contributions. So please remember to put an extra item into your trolley this month for the children to bring into nursery.
Parents whose children turn three before December 31st must apply for their 30 hours code as soon as they can, and submit it to the nursery so we can validate the codes for use in January.
